Anything at all

Who to call

We are never far. Whatever you need, a quiet word is all it takes.

In an emergency · Italy

Free to dial, day or night.

The first hour

Settling in

Parking

Private parking, free and exclusive to guests, sits at the entrance to the estate — open-air, with no height restrictions.

A common parking area lies a 10-minute walk away — the kinder option for very large cars, or less practised drivers.

Luggage

A three-wheeled Ape carries bags between the parking and your house, 9:00 am – 8:30 pm.

It is driven by our staff alone and not outside these hours — please don't take it out yourself.

Quiet hours

Terraces, gardens and bar are closed midnight – 7:00 am.

Very loud music isn't permitted anywhere, at any hour.

Laundry

Clothes lines are down the path left of the chapel, by the Calabrian Woman.

A washing machine and ironing board are available on request.

A shared place

Caring for Peralta

Fiore's borgo is a living, handmade thing — looked after, it stays a secret worth keeping. A few small kindnesses keep it so.

Rubbish & recycling

Recycling is required across Italy — please help us by separating your waste:

  • Plastic & cansMultimaterialeyellow bag
  • PaperCartabrown paper bag
  • GlassVetrogreen bin
  • Food wasteOrganicobrown bin
  • General wasteRURgrey bin

Empty bins in the main trash room by the chapel, behind the brown gate — keep it closed against the animals, and empty everything before you leave. Spare bags are yours for the asking.

Lemons & flowers

Please leave our lemons on the tree — we need them for the limoncello. The flowers, likewise, are there for every guest to enjoy.

Sculpture

The sculptures belong to the estate and to Fiore's memory; please don't move or remove them.

Pets

Well-behaved dogs and cats are most welcome. A charge of €40 covers the extra cleaning — and we ask that they stay off the cushions, sofas and chairs.

The slow days

The swimming pool

Open 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. A few gentle rules keep it lovely for everyone.

The swimming pool among the olive terraces above the hamlet
  • Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times.
  • Please close the gate behind you.
  • A beach towel on the cushions, please.
  • Bathroom towels aren't for the pool — beach towels are provided.
  • Shower off excess sunscreen before you swim.
  • Close the parasols as you leave.

Checking out

Check-out

Check-out is by 10:00 am at the latest — please leave the key in the door.

Help with luggage is there from 8:30 am; for an early start, we can carry the cases down the evening before.

The luggage room and pool stay open to you if you have a late check-out.

Before you go

  • Leave the house as tidy as you found it — no deep clean needed, but a little tidying is appreciated.
  • Empty your bins in the main trash room by the chapel.
  • Turn off the fridge, so the freezer can defrost.

A small note

We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of up to €150 where a house is left in poor order or smells of cigarette smoke — rare, and easily avoided.

Thank you for your understanding and care.
